Description
Every fall in anticipation of winter I spend too much time photocopying, cutting out and taping notes into my Pit Book so I will remember how to do and record snowpack evaluation. The taped down cheat sheets usually make it through the 3rd week of December before peeling off the pages and getting lost for the remainder of the season. I know I’m not the only one (I’ve seen your Pit Books) who do this. So I thought I’d make these super cool, hand illustrated stickers that I can add to my Pit Book yearly.
Never forget the symbols for common snow crystal shapes. This Pit Book Sticker lists 14 of the most common major classes of snow crystals used to describe the grain types found within a snowpit profile. Sized for standard Rite in the Rain No 311FX Pit Books, these stickers look great on your waterbottle too! Whether constantly exposed to snow, sunlight, dishwashers or safely kept in your secret stash, these stickers hold up to almost anything. Collect them all!
