Description
Inspired by my aunt and uncle’s backyard outside of Tuscan AZ. The first time I visited the desert I didn’t like it. Too hot and devoid and dry. But my attitude changed after spending more time in this diverse thriving landscape where everything sort of wants to kill you! The changes in light through the day are constantly shifting the contours of rocks and plants and movement of animals. I appreciate the energy of endurance in the desert. It’s a slow steady constant passage of time where modern high tech life and dinosaur footprints and the art of long gone civilizations all occur at the same space.
